Lumen Coaching was founded by Gowri S Ramani, a corporate and tech industry veteran in 2017, to carry forward her passion towards development of individuals and helping them realize their full potential. Lumen Coaching offers leadership coaching to mature corporate leaders using a unique methodology which is based on world class coaching methods and tools, along with hands on business management experience.
Lumen coaching is a blend of world-renowned Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Centered Coaching, International Coaching Federations Coaching Competencies, Dr. David Drake’s Narrative Coaching and MHS’s EQI2.0 based Emotional Intelligence framework. Herself an MBA from one of the top 10 management institutes, ISB (Indian School of Business, Hyderabad), Gowri combines these methods and tools with her CXO level global experience in top technology companies around the globe.
Gowri has had a diverse and enriching global career, spanning 32 years prior to starting Lumen, in some of the top technology and telecom companies. In her career, she has held global leadership positions, including Global VP and Chief Quality Officer at MetricStream, Head of Governance and Compliance at Altisource, Associate VP at Infosys Technologies, Senior Director and Global Head of Quality at Nokia Siemens Networks etc. She has also had long stints at HP USA and India, and CMC UK and India.
In her diverse roles, one common component was driving strategic and complex change initiatives across multiple locations and functions, involving technology, process and most importantly people related changes. This gave Gowri the opportunity to coach and mentor hundreds of people and drive cultural change, internally within these organizations, across diverse locations, cultures and roles spanning executive leaders to fresh engineers. The development, growth and change of individuals was one of the most fulfilling experiences that kept Gowri going.
In 2013, Gowri co-founded GRT Consulting LLP, a niche training and consulting company, offering high end certification and custom training programs in the area of P3M – Project, Program and Portfolio management, PMO and organizational maturity. Some of GRT clients include CTS, EY, ICRISAT, HSBC, Infosys, Wipro, etc. GRT has offices in Bangalore, India and Auckland, New Zealand and runs programs globally.
In 2017, Gowri started Lumen Coaching to help next generation leaders, in today’s complex corporate world, to take control of their career, develop their teams, grow and realize their full potential as leaders and overall have more fulfilling careers and lives. Her personal mission is to help at least 1000 leaders over the next 3 years in their personal and career journeys on an individual basis. A few of her clients include senior leaders from Microsoft, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Infosys BPO, Wipro, HP, DXC, Zivame, Deloitte, CTS, Metricstream, ABB, Zendesk and GE. Geographically, her clients are from India, Singapore, Turkey, Dubai, Germany, USA among others.
Lumen Coaching offers coaching services to companies through Corporate Coaching, Women Leadership Program and works with corporate/start-up senior executives and leaders individually through 1×1. Offerings include individualized coaching for corporate leaders, blended group and individualized coaching program for senior leadership team and also a group coaching program for young women and women leaders.
